A Touch Of Class Recordings

For the record, there is only THE ONES. Making their mark in the New York underground club scene, Paul Alexander, Nashom, and JoJo Americo have been influential music and fashion provocateurs for quite some time. The trio fit glam couture and essence of electro-house beats on this shrink-wrapped 12" vinyl, serving it again to the dance floor along with London's own clubhouse legend Princess Julia as back-up vocals. This is the first single off their forthcoming debut album set for release in September 2006 on the indie imprint A Touch Of Class Recordings (Scissor Sisters).

The world first learned of The Ones back in 2001 when their first single "Flawless" (co-written and produced by production team A Touch Of Class) reached #7 in the official Top Ten UK Singles Chart after being the roaring club anthem in Ibiza the previous summer. This absolutely flawless track had an encore performance on George Michael's Patience album in 2004 and once again climbed the Top Ten UK Singles Chart to #8. The universe anticipates The Ones' upcoming album in 2006, featuring production work from Dimitri of Dee-Lite, Scissor Sisters, T-Total, and A Touch Of Class, just to name a few.

A Touch Of Class, NY based artists Oliver Stumm and Dominique Clausen, are the production savants that have racked an impressive roster of both production work (Scissor Sisters, Waldorf, Xavier) and remixes (The Gossip, Le Tigre, Erasure). ATOC delivers two floor-burning, down-and-dirty, electro-disco remixes of "Picture Perfect", one dub and the other vocal, that will sweat the glitter off any clubgoer.

Matt Safer and Gabe Andruzzi (of The Rapture) hit the production studio as HUSHHUSH. Having remixed the likes of Annie ("Me Plus One"), Supersystem ("Miracle"), Manhead ("Hey Now"), and Gomma band Who Made Who, the duo rehash "Picture Perfect" with fresh electro-quirk frequencies and a catchy distorted-synth ditty.

UK production team T-Total (club legends Tasty Tim and Robert Michael) go all out on "TV Screen" and deliver a dish of retro-camp beats. Residents of a fashion-forward nightlife,T-Total have collaborated with the likes of the Pet Shop Boys and Boy George.
