POP DELUXE

A side: "Make It Right" sounds like a mixture of Giorgio Moroder, Whirlpool or even Daft Punk with distorted basslines and driven basssynth, laszive vocals and a disco'ey hookline.

B side: "More Future" , a down tempo electrotrack with a more minimalistic arrangement and warm analog-synthesizer melodies.

Benjamin Haemmerle aka Pop Deluxe was eleven years old and was listening to 'Kraftwerk' for the first time. He got twelve and bought his first 'House' record 'Can You Party'/Todd Terry. These are his influences which made him buy some analog synthesizers, 2 'Roland' drum machines, a sampler, a computer which was slower than a calculator at that time. He was starting to work on his vision of dance music. Raw and direct, but also with a touch of elegance.
