Keine Ahnung, wer Manuel Mind & Valentino Tomasi sind, aber sie haben den Funk auf jeden Fall mit Löffeln gefressen. "Strange Sounds" im Original Mix ist ein 80s angehauchter Housetrack, der mit Elektrobeat und typischen 80s Synthiesounds anfängt, um dann nach etwa 2 Minuten auf 4/4 umzusteigen ... Die Vocals sind funky wie die Hölle, der Track könnte fast von Daft Punk sein. Gegen Ende kommt auch noch ein Piano dazu, dann wieder mit Elektrobeat ... Tira's Riccione Mix klingt noch mehr nach 80s als nach House, funky Beat und smarte Sounds kreieren eine regelrechte Street Dance Atmosphäre ... gefällt mir fast noch einen Tick besser als das Original. Der Robot Remix von A Touch Of Class auf der B-Seite steht dem in nichts nach ... hier mit durchgehendem 4/4 Beat und der zeitlosen Bassline von Alexander Robotnicks "Problemes d'amour", dazu eine dezente Discogitarre. Etwas strange und trashig, aber irgendwie auch cool ist Disghost's Waldorf Remix, der aus dem Track so eine Art E-Gitarren-House macht ... Auf jeden Fall ein Hit."
